Game Of Life

 Yesterday we went to the game of life event. It was really fun and I got to see heaps of different jobs/careers. The positive of this event was that I discovered an acting studio which is opening in Gisborne. It's called Rangai studios and it will help with acting and drama. They are only gonna take in 20 people a year but as the business expands they will invite more people in. A minus of the event is that there were too many people so I didn't get to see all of the stalls/jobs. Something that was interesting was how many different jobs there are in Gisborne. There are so many to consider but I'm gonna stick with acting. 

Floor plans for my A/S

 I have drawn my floor plans and I am working on my elevations. I am making a bus house and I found some measurements on google and I researched more. 

Amazing Spaces Updated

This week we are working on our floor plans so that we can build our modeled/scaled version. Hopefully next week we will of finished our floor plans and start building them. I have added more stuff to my A/S portfolio slides. 

Resilience

Today in class we have been looking at how important some of these skills are. All of these things has an impact on us and will help us in our future. 

 Failure - It is so important to fail while you are trying to learn or do something. If you are not failing you will not be able to learn anything from it. Never give up and keep on going because you will never forgive yourself of the possibility that you could succeed but if you give up you'll never know. 

Gratitude - Gratitude is a very nice thing to have. Being grateful is  also very important. Some people in the world are not as lucky as some of us. Some people have to walk an hour to school or get fed once a day, meanwhile we get very yum food to eat every day and get rides to school. I am very grateful for my life and my thoughts go to the people that dont have much money or are not able to have things that I have. 

Honesty - If you are always lying in your life you won't get anywhere. Maybe telling a little white lie to get you out of a sleepover or not doing your homework is ok but lying is not gonna get you far in the real world. Being honest is gonna help you even if you are confessing to something bad it will be worse to be caught in a lie. 

Bravery - Bravery is not in everyone and is different to every single person. The meaning to brave to one person could be singing in front of a friend but to someone else it could be to jump 10 meters high into water. Bravery is so different and we need to respect everyone else's personal level with bravery.  Bravery is useful in ways and it's almost like a game with levels and trying to accomplish levels of your own bravery.

My Amazing Space

My class is called Amazing Spaces. We are building an amazing space to live in. I wanna build a bus home because I think it would be so cool to travel around the country without leaving your home.

In class we listened to a podcast about New Zealand stuff and had to draw what we thought in our minds. I drew this because he was talking about kinas, cliffs and the ocean in the wind so this is what I thought represents it.
